90 Day Longevity

System three of three

Movement.

Whole-body vibration training on a platform you keep. Ten to fifteen minutes a session, progressive protocols, no joint strain.

What it is.

You stand on a platform that oscillates at a controlled frequency. Your muscles respond with rapid involuntary contractions, which is why a short session feels like real work without the impact of running or lifting. Ten to fifteen minutes a day, which is the point: it is short enough that you actually do it.

Where it comes from.

Whole-body vibration has been studied by NASA-funded researchers as a possible countermeasure for the bone loss astronauts experience in microgravity, and the European Space Agency lists it among the countermeasures it is investigating. It has also been used in athletic conditioning for decades.

Frequency, in plain terms.

The platform operates across a range of about 20 to 50 hertz, meaning the number of oscillations per second. We work in the lower part of that range early on, when the session is about circulation and getting used to the positions, and move into the upper part later, when it is about loading the muscles harder. Which band you are in on a given week is set in your session, not left to you to guess.

How we use it.

  • Weeks 2 to 4: low intensity, learning the positions, building the habit
  • Weeks 5 to 10: progressive protocols with frequency and duration stepping up
  • Weeks 11 to 13: your maintenance routine, written down

Honest notes.

We do not publish strength, bone density, or hormone figures on this site. Studies exist, results vary, and a marketing page is the wrong place to summarize them. If you want to read the research, Gary will point you to it in a session.
